Community Guidelines

Tradivior’s community is intended to help people investigate, discover, debate and contribute without weakening the evidence standards of the publication.

Debate ideas, not people

Disagreement is welcome. Personal attacks, harassment, threats, targeted abuse, dehumanizing language and attempts to intimidate participants are not.

Respect living communities

Traditions can be examined critically without treating the people who practise them as stereotypes. Avoid broad claims about entire religions, ethnic groups, countries or civilizations when the evidence concerns a narrower community or period.

Claims need proportionate evidence

If you make a factual claim—especially a medical, historical or scientific claim—be prepared to provide a source. Personal experience can be valuable as testimony but should not be presented as proof that an effect applies universally.

No dangerous health instructions

Community discussion must not encourage people to ignore urgent medical care, stop prescribed treatment without professional supervision, ingest unsafe substances, or treat unverified traditional remedies as guaranteed cures.

Contributions and cultural knowledge

First-hand cultural knowledge is welcome when shared respectfully and with appropriate context. Do not disclose private ceremonies, personal information, restricted community knowledge or other material you do not have the right to share.

No spam or manipulation

Spam, repetitive promotion, deceptive links, coordinated manipulation, impersonation, automated abuse and attempts to game reputation or voting systems may be removed or restricted.

Editorial/community firewall

Community discussion can challenge an article and may surface new evidence, but Tradivior’s editorial conclusions are not decided by polls, likes or majority vote. Material challenges should be reviewed against evidence and editorial standards.

Moderation

Moderation may include warnings, content removal, temporary restrictions or account action depending on severity and repeated behaviour. Before public launch, Tradivior will complete a dedicated moderation, permissions, anti-spam and abuse-prevention review.
